A photo of Broadstone Hall Farm c1900 from Advertiser 1st Aug 1963, shows a family posing in gardens at front of farm. Article - Broadstone Hall, Heaton Chapel was one of the important farms in the area before the urban sprawl swallowed up its fields. Thought to be home of Hulme family. 1921 to 1939 home of Tate family well known farmers, demolished soon after to make way to build Broadstone Hall Infants and Junior School.
