View of Chapel Street (off London Road) c.1910 probably earlier. The sweet shop of Mrs Turnock on the corner was demolished (along with the buildings behind) to widen Chapel Street. J. T. Dean later built his greengrocer shop on the corner which is now the HFT Trust charity shop as seen today.
