Market Place

1985:January 1985
Archives
Very close on the right hand side is the side of the Market Hall looking towards St Mary's Church. It is so close that the roofline is indistinguishable. There is some scaffolding towards the far end of the Market Hall. A concrete lamppost is across the street in front of a number of shops which are closed. The only shops' names which are easily identified are Needhams Food Centre and Cosmetique. The shops are of different heights, some one storey, some two and some three. The shop at the top left, nearest the church was a butchers called 'Bagshaws', owned by George Bagshaw, the shop burned down and is now occupied by a new building which is a barbers.
