William Knowles, a pupil at the school, full length portrait. Very ragged clothing. Clog style shoes, long trousers, waiscoat fastened on top two buttons only. Wide open jacket with very frayed sleeves. Holds hat in left hand. Long hair parted at left. Mouth ajar showing two top front teeth. Sunken eyes.
