Market Celebration

1985:12th/19th Sept 1985
Archives
The Re-opening of the Market Hall shows a man dressed as a cobbler, complete with hammer and boot. He is wearing a bowler hat and has painted a moustache and sideburns on his face. Flags of bunting are strung across the aisles between the stalls. The photograph is looking down an aisle and two other stall holders are dressed up, but only seen in the distance. Among the shoppers is a young mum with a little girl in a push-chair.
