Double bill of musical comedies from the 1940s starring double act Ethel Revnell and Gracie West. In 'The Balloon Goes Up' (1942) the duo, disguised as WAAFs, assist a pair of sergeants, who in turn are actually entertainers pretending to be officers, as they attempt to capture a group of Nazis. In 'Up With the Lark' (1943) Ethel and Gracie, this time dressed as land girls, track a band of black marketeers to their secret hideout.
