Crafternoon Sewcial Club : Sewing Bee

Williams, J C
Book
The Crafternoon Sewcial Club's going from strength to strength, although Charlotte Newman is far from resting on her laurels. And why would she? After all, she's living her perfect life. So, when a chance encounter highlights the sorry plight of parents unable to afford school uniforms, Charlotte was itching to develop a solution. And before too long, she'd initiated a clothing exchange programme christened ReCyCool. Unfortunately, news of her fledgling enterprise was painfully slow to travel around the Isle of Man, with it in real danger of falling at the first hurdle. So if it had any chance of succeeding, Charlotte would have to arrange something spectacular to raise the profile and get the word out. Then after considerable deliberation, the solution presented itself, and the wheels of the island's very own Sewing Bee competition were set in motion. And who better to help Charlotte host the hottest event in the island's crafting calendar than Joyce, Beryl, Larry and the rest of her Crafternooners.
