St. Mary's Church, Red Lane, Disley showing an exterior view of the church. The building was first erected as a chantry chapel by Sir Peter Legh as a memorial to his wife Lady Ellen in 1495. In 1558 on petition of his grandson and the people of Disley it was upgraded into Disley parish church, image dated 9-11-1967. (More information on rear of original)
