Re-opening of the Market Hall

Celebrating the occasion are 3 stallholders in historical costume. The gentleman to the right of the picture is wearing a straw boater, white shirt, dark waistcoat and light trousers. He is standing in front of rolls of material and above his head hanging from the stall are the words "Fabrics - Dralon & Cotton Velvet." In the centre of the photo is a lady in a long black skirt with a white apron, white blouse with cameo brooch at the neck. On her head she is wearing a tiny white cotton cap. Two white haired female shoppers have their backs to the camera, and one lady shopper is looking at the flowers on a nearby stall. Another female stallholder also has a long black skirt, white blouse and is arranging the clothing on her stall. Dangling from the tops of stalls are flags of bunting.
