Outside the Red Lion preparations are being made for the 1936 Village Centenary Parade. The stage coach here was once used in the village and the passengers are dressed in authentic "1836" costumes. The young girl standing is Ann Gosling, on her right is Annie Rowbotham and on her left is Nellie Jones.
