This cottage opposite Norbury Parish Church,near the Rising Sun, photographed in 1901, is said to be the site of the Bullock Smithy Inn (which appears on Ogilby's map of 1675). This may be a renovation of the original house or a new building, but it is on the line of the old turnpike road. Torkington Park is behind.
