Becoming our customer
Stockport Libraries services are free to all, irrespective of age or where you live. You can obtain a library card from any library in Stockport.
This form is for Adults and Teens age 13+ years.
Conditions
- Treat the library building, books and staff with respect.
- Be respectful of other library users. Libraries are a safe space for all. This includes reporting any issues as soon as possible.
- While we are as free as possible, there are charges for overdue items, damaged books, printing and requests. You agree to pay any charges you incur. Full list of charges
- You must keep your details up to date. You can update your details in your online account, with staff in the library, by phone or email.
- Please report lost cards to the library immediately. You will be held responsible for any items checked out before the loss is reported.

You will need to finish your registration by calling into any Stockport Library during staffed hours within 90 days of completing this online joining form.
