The collection is comprised of miscellaneous material borrowed by a researcher. It includes both published and unpublished material relating to the history of the Christy’s company (including the 175th Anniversary), the history of the hat making industry, records relating to relevant trade and unions, advertising material, photographs of the hat works, shops and headshots of the Christy and Christie-Miller families. There are also newspaper cuttings and material related to the 1907 Strike.
