The ramshackle building seen in Accession No 1387 is seen here part demolished. The nameplate Mealhouse Brow is just legible and the steps on both ends of the pavement leading towards Mealhouse Brow are clearly seen. H & H Hoopers has a hoarding above with "B Hewitt." It is unclear what Hewitt sells, but the phone number starts with STO (the prefix prior to 480 and STD codes). The white building looking up the street is Finnigans and the black and white one next to it is a Building Society. (The fronts of these are also seen in Accession No 1386.) A saloon car is parked at the end of the street.
