Tiviot Dale Station, May 1961. 12:10pm Chinley train arriving, locomotive number 45607 named Fiji, built at Crewe works in 1934. The platform totems read Stockport: Tiviot Dale, on the platform stands a group of enginemen, three (maybe) passengers and two boys taking down the engine’s number. In the background there are original Victorian buildings and houses, as well as the station with its covered walkway above the railway.
