Disley Hall, Disley. There is thought to be a building on this site since Anglo-Saxon times. The current building is several hundred years old, it is currently a farm house. An interesting feature is the old "garret", a room reached by the steps on the outside of the building. Originally the hall may have housed the "forester" as the estate was part of Disley Wood in the old Macclesfield Forest, image dated 19-10-1967.
