Looking to the south from near to Bank Street. The clock tower marks the Corporation transport department depot, with the 92 bus stop for buses towards Manchester. There is a small brick shelter nearby. On the left going up the hill is the Essoldo Cinema and the top of the Town Hall can just be seen. The building with the tall chimney is now the Hat Works museum and apartments.
