The funeral cortege of Fireman John Francis Lamon as it passes through Mersey Square on its way to St Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Heaton Norris. In the car following the hearse are Mr. Lamon's widow Mary and their three children, John aged 12, Vera aged 14 and May 7.
