Looking down from the bridge which carries Petersgate to the market, towards the White Lion. On the corner ahead, Diane ladies dress shop, bottom right is Tip Top Fashions. In the distance at left the railway viaduct, straight ahead k leads to Merseyway. The distant spire is Christ Church, burnt down in the 1970s with the spire now preserved. The very modern clad structure to the right is the new RBS bank.
