A class 45/0 diesel locomotive 45046 with open stone wagons at the Tilcon Ltd stone drops in Portwood, Stockport. This is now the southern terminus of the former line which ran through to Stockport Tiviot Dale station. In the distance to the right is the (now demolished) Merseyway clock tower. This Sulzer Type 4 engine was withdrawn in 1988 and scapped in 1992.
