1786, May 15. Feoffment by Joshua Southern of Stockport, butcher, to Thomas Bostock of Offerton, weaver, and Joseph Goodison of Offerton, weaver, of Bassetts Piece, Little Moor, for building “good and substantial dwelling houses”.
1810, Jan. 6. Will of Ralph Bostock of Stockport Moor, weaver (died 9 Jan.1810). Agreement for sale by Jonathon Broadhurst of Stockport, draper, and John Broadhurst of Stockport, brick layer, devises under will of Jonathon Broadhurat of Stockport in full, yeoman (died 17 May, 1827), to Peter Halton, of yearly rent of Basset’s Piece (17/9) for £18.
