Prince's Street Corner

Archives
The junction of Prince's Street and Wellington Road South. The shops and offices were demolished in the Mersey Square redevelopment around 1934. Above the buildings in the foreground is the central fire station and on the right can be seen a tram on the Reddish to Cheadle Heath route. The faint tower above the tram is St Peter's church. From Stockport Advertiser 23 August 1962.
