This is a photograph of the back view of this smithy, (for the front view see 1486, for the interior see 1488) H. Lees printed the negative from Longson's original. The yard shows a ramshackle brick built single story building, with a brick chimney and a skylight. The large wooden door is open, but you cannot see the inside.
