John Street (off Mount Pleasant) now demolished, but in the early 1900s onwards the houses all had hand-loom weaving "factories" built onto their backs. But, like the loom shops on London Road, all were demolished to make way for the new Co-op car park. The houses here are now where "Goodwins Haulage Yard" is.
