The Funeral of Fire Officer Lamon of the Auxiliary Fire Service.

The funeral, at St Mary's R.C. Church Heaton Norris, of Mr John Francis Lamon, who died aged 40, of pneumonia after falling into the River Mersey, whilst on duty. His name is on the Roll Of Honour at Whitehill Fire Station Reddish, and his name has been inscribed on the Firefighters National Memorial in front of St Paul's Cathedral London.
