Visiting the library from Thursday 27th January

If you or any member of your household has or is displaying symptoms of the coronavirus, you must not visit our libraries. For example; high temperature, new unexplained cough or loss of taste or smell.

Our priority is to ensure the health and safety of our staff and residents.

We welcome customers into our Library, and whilst face coverings are not mandatory, we encourage customers to still wear one whilst using our Libraries.

If you live in Stockport and have difficulties visiting a library, you may be able to use our free home library service. The service is open to all ages and is also available to full time carers. Our team of experienced staff will choose the items for you according to your preferences and every 3 weeks a member of our team will visit you to change your books.

You can also join the home library service on a temporary basis. For example, if you're shielding, while you're confined to your house.
