Cheadle Heath Council School was officially opened on the 8th January 1906 by Mayor of Stockport, Alderman G. Nelstropp. The school has a separate Juniors department, the infants department was housed separately to the Junior school in the buildings known as the ‘Old Tin Bucket’ . New buildings were erected c. 1964. The Junior and Infant school were amalgamated c. 2002 and were located in a new joint building.
