Tin Brook, town centre. Tin Brook having flowed under Stockport Bedding Co. (building in the background) comes under the Lower Carrs and appears above ground for about 100 yards. From here it is culverted until it reaches the River Mersey but part of it wasn't culverted until the new Merseyway and Chestergate were being built about 1967.
